thanks so much for posting. Illuminates some aspects of "partial birth abortion" ban I wasn't aware of. The title for your link threw me off, though. haha. sounded like it would be pro-life.

IMHO, the main reason the 'pro-lifers' are for these laws is to place a nebulous region so the doctor doesn't know if he's broken the law until the jury reaches its decision. A stage where a non "Dr. Nick Rivera" Doctor might be ruined. And then from this stage they can push for greater and greater bans.

And they don't seem to care that there are rare but real medical reasons for this procedure.

I wonder if this NeoCon machine isn't dismantled, there will be "Coathanger express" rides where Planned Parenthood has drivers take women from 'red' to 'blue' states for an abortion. And then, there probably will be calls for laws, ones that ban a woman's interstate travel, or penalize her with murder for an out of state abortion?
